"The Signal Hill Gallery is currently displaying 22 paintings of Saskatchewan resident Susan Schaefer, to be on display until March 31, 2006.
Schaefer's work includes several still life paintings, which are vibrant in colour and texture. She was born and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan and began painting at a very young age, converting her father's old granaries into an artist's studio.
When Schaefer grew up she attended classes in painting and design at the University of Alberta and took graphic arts at the Emily Carr College of Art Design in Vancouver. Schaefer became passionate about the graphic arts world and continues to work as a graphic designer to this day."
