Isla Mujeres
At the beginning of each new year Susan likes to treat herself to a warm climate holiday. For 2008, she was fortunate enough to make her way to Isla Mujeres, a small island off the coast of Cancun, Mexico.
Susan says:
"I had never been there before, so it was fun to explore, while enjoying the warm waters, hot sun and cold beer.
This year I really did try to pack lighter then usual, although I did have to take my snorkel and fins with me, as the island is in the Caribbean with lots of turquoise waters to enjoy. For painting, I took along several pieces of watercolour paper, 3 brushes, and 5 watercolour paints, along with my pencil case for pencils, erasers and pencil sharpener."
