These images are a few of Susan's watercolour and acrylic paintings. As a professional fine artist, she enjoys working in all mediums, but especially loves painting with acrylics & watercolours. She enjoys both mediums equally as they are so different in value and technique.
Her work has often been described as "very colourful and bright" as she likes to use pure bold colour. Most of her painting ideas come from real life adventures and activities. As she is an avid photographer, who loves to travel and explore, there are thousands of images to choose from, often making it difficult to decide which painting to start next. Her range of themes cover Mexican and Canadian underwater scenes, florals, landscapes, animals...the list goes on. From the Prairies to the West Coast...and Beyond!
Now living on the West Coast of Canada, on Vancouver Island, Susan spends her time painting, publishing Island Arts Magazine and travelling.
